El electrificante “Voltio” participó en el Segundo Aniversario de Teatro Breve y llega pronto con un documental
El cantante de música urbana Julio “Voltio” fue el invitado especial en uno de los “sketches” que se presentaron como parte del Segundo Aniversario del Teatro Breve en el Teatro Ambassador.
Voltio apareció junto a varios artistas reconocidos y comediantes como Sunshine Logroño, René Monclova, Georgina Borri y El Gangster.
“Fue una gran experiencia el compartir en el escenario con estos grandes actores puertorriqueños. La pase muy bien y espero poder seguir participando en espectáculos como este que ayudan a mi crecimiento profesional” comentó Voltio.
El intérprete de “El Mellao”, quien se presentó recientemente en Italia y Suiza, está dándole los últimos toques al documental en DVD “En Vivo Desde El Oso Blanco” para su lanzamiento el próximo 5 de agosto.
Este documental relata los inicios de su carrera, así como la historia de la notoria institución penal, y es producido por Cristian Suau de Tangram Films.

With his new single “Llorar lloviendo” (To Cry Raining) climbing the charts and the video clip playing frequently on music and video channels, the New York artist’s charms keep seducing everyone. He proved this on the Green Carpet on the last edition of the “Premios Juventud”.
He performed “Soy igual que tu” (I’m Just Like You) with Alexis & Fido and presented one of the “Premios Juventud”, the greatest party for the Latin youth in the United States. Surely, next year he’ll be able to go on stage but this time to receive an award, because he’s releasing his new album on September 2nd.
“Love is Back” is his second album. In it, a more mature and musically evolved artist can be heard, one who makes a transition side by side with fans who are maturing with him.
“Llorar lloviendo”, the first single, reached this week the 12th spot on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm chart and the video can be seen on the main music channels. The song has an urban rhythmic base and the strong sound of bachata that moves to love and nostalgia.

Pop ballads and romantic bachata is the new mix in the US tour that features latin power ballad crooner Enrique Iglesias with an unlikely pair, the guys from Aventura.

San Juan, PR14 de julio de 2008 – Alexis y Fido se codean con Russell Simmons, Ciara, Flo-Rida y otras grandes figuras del Hip Hop norteamericano en el más reciente video de la campaña “Vote For It” dirigido a los jóvenes y la importancia de que ejerzan el privilegio de hacer su voz escuchar a través del voto.
El dúo ya había participado del concierto “Hip Hop Team: Turn Up the Vote”, iniciativa de los grupos Hip-Hop Research and Education Fund (HREF), PowerPAC y the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), el pasado abril en Filadelfia. Los intérpretes de “Cinco letras” son los únicos en exhortar a los jóvenes a votar en español en el anuncio de servicio público.
Para Alexis y Fido es un honor participar en la campaña. “Los jóvenes tienen que entender que es un privilegio votar, no todos los países ofrecen esa ventaja”, dijo Alexis, mientras que Fido añadió que “el primer paso es inscribirse, tienen que hacer que su voz se escuche, después no se pueden quejar”.
